The Mother of all Garage Sales in the making!

The Garage Sale is planned for Friday and Saturday, May 1st and 2nd.

Friends and family are uniting to generate some $$$ for Shell's future expenditures.

Here it is Sunday, April 19th, and we find ourselves cleaning out Shell's garage in preparation for receiving lots of donations for the sale.  Mom, Pop, and myself encountered layers of dust on everything we touched in the garage.  Needless to say, it needed a good cleaning.  While we made much progress, we will be back at it in the morning to make room for what we expect will be mountains of charitable goods for the sale.

After working through the morning and well into the afternoon, we called it a day and drug our tired bodies into the house to cool off and relax.  Minutes later the first of two truck loads pulled up in the drive.  Val, Mary Kay, and Val's Mom (very nice lady whose name escapes me presently) dropped lots of stuff including a real sharp (and heavy!) big screen TV.  I see from this first load that we will need to have more room available for the sale.......

We have lots on the slate tomorrow...
