Chemo Dose #2
Leah and I escorted Shell to her second Chemo dose on 4-23-2009. We had the opportunity to meet and confer with Dr. Cavalcant and I must say I was impressed. He knows his stuff! We are on the right track with the Doctor.
This is Shell after the Tylenol, Benedryl, and The Happy Drug. Two or three minutes later, Shell left the building! (if ya' know what I mean...). The Chemo was injected just a little while later.
It looks like some goooood stuff!
I say let em give you all the happy drugs they want to! I would guess it's ativan, or something like it, or versed. Either way, what ever makes it go smooth and easy.
I'm going to try to come see you also, after the dust settles.

Oreo!
It's Chatterbox, I hope you remember me from Yavapai. I have a lot of great memories - softball, listening to Journey and eating popcorn in the dorms. You still look the same, and have that great smile that lights up a room. Where are you living now? I'm in California now (since 1986 - LA area) Please know that you are in my prayers.

I'll be darned.....look at all the old Team coming out of the woodwork! Ya all are awesome! Oreo has suppport coming from all directions. We should all try to get together when she is feeling up to tolerating all of us.

hoping that today's treatment goes as smoothly as the previous two, with as few bumps in the road as possible. I'm with ya in thought since that's about as close as I can get from here.
