Chemo #20
Hi everyone! Mom took me to chemo #20 yesterday. Long day, 45 minute wait to get in and then 3 1/2 hrs of chemo. Tanner was crated the whole time and we came home to monster puppy!! He was not a happy dog. He was obnoxious and bit my arms like they were pieces of jerky with his lovely needle teeth.
We've asked several times when my last chemo will be and were told yesterday that when I see Dr. Cavalcant on Sept.10th we will discuss it then. As everyone knows I am chomping at the bit to get back to work one way or another. Not sure how it will all play out yet, but my Dr. doesnt want me doing any hard labor. We will wait and see in October how the scans will come back and go from there.
I got a call today from Mark Horn who is the superintendant of Wastewater. It was good to hear from him. He said work is busy and there have been some turn-overs at work. New faces and old ones moving around. All in all everyone is well and keeping busy. Good to hear! I miss the guys, thats for sure, expecially my partner Clint.
Lastly, I would like to thank my parents who have been by my side through this experience from day one. Lots of doctor visits, hospitilization, scans, blood work, and last but not least chemo treatments. I couldnt ask for better parents. Thanks Mom & Dad!!!

Hope everyone is well and healthy!!
Shelly

Sorry for the long wait you had to endure...as if it's any fun going there as it is.
Kudo's to your Mom and Dad, they're true troopers. Now I know exactly where you got it from!
Love ya O,
Jodie
