Back to work!!
Hey everyone, I got to go back to work this week (10-19-09)!! What an attitude adjustment! It was good to see smiling faces that I certainly missed. My department supervisers pitched in and thru me a welcome back BBQ on Friday. Clint BBQd brats and burgers. Berna made me a cake that looked like a manhole with pink frosting that said "welcome back Shelly". It was very cool. I am only supposed to work 24 hours a week for the first month. Hopefully by then the chemicals will have thinned out and I wont be getting sick anymore. All in all, it was a very good week.
Next week I have a PETscan on Thursday and see the doctor the week after for the results. At that time I will start back up on the chemo every 3 weeks. Its nice to have a break right now.
At this time the Angels are still scratching and crawling in the ALCS. There has been alot of bad calls by the umps in this series. Hopefully they still have some left in the tank to get some wins in New York. Go Angels!!
