Vals bike ride fundraiser
Hey all, Val has graciously offered to ride her bike in the the "Tour De Tucson" on Nov. 20th and donate all prodeeds to my medical expenses. She is going to take on the 40 mile ride. She is riding her bike to and from work and is eating healthy to prepare. We will look into puting a "pay pal" link here for people to pledge. I for one will be standing at the finish line in November, i hope you will join me!!
I started radiation treatments yesterday. I go for 8-10 treatments. I should be losing my hair by the end of next week...again. I feel stronger than ever tho. I'm reading a book about beating cancer with nutrition and i'm really motivated. I cut sugar out of my diet and eat lots of fruits, veggies, nuts and lean meats. I am also drinking alot of water and am taking vitamins. I am more determined than ever to beat this dark beast that lurks in my cells. I will give my body as much fuel and rest that i can to beat it. I want to live my life without regret and live it to the fullest. Even tho i am sick I consider myself very lucky. Everyday i am surrounded by people that love and support me and it means the world to me. Thanks to all of you who are in my corner fighting with me. The fight continues!!!

You my friend ROCK! Your attitude and tenacity make is so much easier for us to surround and support you. You never cease to amaze and inspire me, never waivering an ounce in this battle. I am proud to be your friend and hope I lend some kind of support to you from this distance. There isn't a day go by that I don't think about you or talk about you.....the recurring theme, the fight and mental toughness that you demonstrate everyday that this battle wages on.
You will prevail, not a doubt in my mind! Not now, not ever!
