latest medical update
I went and saw Dr. Cavalcant Thursday to get my injections and get my Zometa drip on thursday Dec. 2nd. He asked me about my radiation side effects and i told him about getting hit in the head with a shovel at work. He was as emotional as i have ever seen him. He said he was concerned about my safety and health and wants me to go on permanent disability. So i went to HR Friday and started the paper work. I have a lot of mixed emotions. The 1st one being sadness. Working for the Town of Gilbert did not compare to any other job i've had. The people their are wonderful, friendly and kind. I will especially miss my partner Clint. But, i know where he goes for lunch.
I'm also concerned about my future financially and of course physically. I have to tell myself i only have so much control. The rest will play out the way it is suppose to. I will continue to eat healthy and get plenty of rest and hope that someday every time i go for a scan it comes back "cancer free"!! I will be getting scans soon and i will keep you posted on the results. I hope this blog finds everyone healthy and happy!!
