Friday the 10th Mom and I went to Banner Desert to have PETscan and MRI of brain and lower back.  We got there at 1:15 and didnt get out of there until 6:30.  Saw Dr. Cavalcant for the results this morning.  The brain cancer is progressing and my brain is swollen so they put me on steroids to lessen the swelling.  The reports showed cancer in my lower back and an enlarged lymph node deep in my chest.  Doctor Taylor is going to get me in ASAP and i will find out then if radiation is an option for the brain as i've already had 2 rounds of radiation to the brain.  Dr C said they will definetely want to do radiation on the lower back and then he wants me to go back on Chemo.  We were hoping for better news but we werent suprised.  It certainly could have worse.  So i will keep fighting.

I hope all is well in your world,

Shelly

That sucks. I know life doesn't give anyone more than they can handle - and you have certainly proved that you can handle more than most - but you'd think you could get one friggin break. Sorry, Shell. Wish I could think of something better to say.

    Love
