Tombstone Jeep Tour

A couple of weeks ago Val and i went to Tombstone.  She bought me a Jeep Tour for Christmas and it was really neat.  Our 1st stop was very interesting.  Out in the middle of nowhere, a couple from back east bought some property, and set up a single wide mobile home.  They spent their time on the old stage coach road that came from Texas near their property.  The place was called Rattlesnake Crafts.  They had hundreds and hundreds of antique pieces they had found out in the desert.  Everything from old lanterns, old glass,  tools, rifles, branding irons, old wagons and wagon wheels.  It was amazing.  Then we toured some old ghost towns, some ruins and some buildings were still standing.  He gave us a history lesson for sure.  It was a lot of fun but it was hard to leave Tombstone.  There is so much history to absorb.  I'm looking forward to going back and so is Val!

Tombstone is one of my favorite places in the world. It's only 20 mins from Sierra Vista, I dig the cowboy/girl stuff. The 2nd or 3rd weekend in October they have Helderado days. The town dresses up, street fights, carnival and at night watch out in the saloons.
